Kaiku
SOLO SPACE

Kaiku, who listens to you

Solo space is a private conversation between you and Kaiku. It learns your language, notices patterns, and remembers the moments you want to talk about.

STEP 1 · STARTING POINT

Talk like to a friend

Say what you want, how you want. Kaiku responds warmly — not in lecture form, not in therapy language. At your level, in your words.

Kaiku doesn't push a fix right away. It asks, listens, mirrors. A heavy moment is allowed to stay heavy without someone trying to solve it — and you won't hear phrases like "cognitive distortion" or "attachment style." Just a wise friend who knows how to listen.

STEP 2 · CHOOSE A TONE

Pick the tone you want

Sometimes you want Kaiku to just listen. Sometimes you need concrete advice. Sometimes just support. Switch the choice and Kaiku's tone adjusts immediately.

Listen mirrors and asks — good for unpacking your mind. Advise gives concrete suggestions — good when you want clarity. Support stays close without trying to fix — good in heavy moments. Same conversation, different rhythm.

STEP 3 · MEMORY

Kaiku saves what matters, you keep talking

When Kaiku notices a commitment, a time, or something worth remembering, it saves it on one line. You don't have to write lists — the conversation flows on.

A small, unobtrusive note under Kaiku's message: "✓ Saved to memory" and one line of what was saved. You can undo with the ✕ button if it went wrong. The saved info helps Kaiku remember context next time — no calendar, no list, just conversation.

STEP 4 · INSIGHTS

Insights surface on their own

When the conversation deepens, Kaiku notices patterns and brings them out as a gold-bordered insight. Not in every message — only when something really matters.

Visually distinct from a regular message: this is Kaiku's small thought, not continuous analysis. An insight can connect yesterday and now, a weekly pattern, or something similar you said before. Kaiku sees what a single moment alone can't show.

STEP 5 · YOUR LANGUAGE

Kaiku learns your words

Recurring word choices of yours start showing up in Kaiku's replies. It begins using your own words. This is yours alone — nobody else sees it.

When an expression becomes part of how you speak (five mentions or more), Kaiku starts using it in his own answers. The conversation begins to feel right for you. Your words don't leak to other users — your private language stays private.

STEP 6 · SUMMARY

After a long conversation: a summary

When you've exchanged more than 20 messages, Kaiku offers a summary: openness, depth, progress. You don't have to wonder if this helped — Kaiku tells you.

Three meters, three colors — a visual summary of what happened during the session. Plus three concrete observations: what the strengths were, what the conversation touched, what a next step could be. The scores aren't grades — they're maps of the conversation.

STEP 7 · PRIVACY

Your data stays yours

Solo space is built around privacy. You're not a product. You're not marketing material. Kaiku remembers for you, not about you.

What you tell in solo space doesn't leak to couple chat. Kaiku knows the difference, and your partner doesn't see things you said alone. You can ask Kaiku to forget a topic or a situation — your data follows your choice.

THREE PRINCIPLES

What solo space is built on

Private

Nothing leaks to couple chat, isn't shared with anyone, and never ends up with advertisers.

Remembers for you

Kaiku remembers context and your words next time — without you having to repeat.

On your terms

You can ask Kaiku to forget, end the conversation, or delete everything any time.

You're not a product. You pay for the service so your data stays yours — not the other way around.

In solo space I get to think out loud without anyone trying to fix me. Kaiku listens and sometimes brings back something from last week — and that's when I notice patterns I wouldn't see otherwise.

Common questions about solo space

What's the difference between solo space and couple space?

Solo space is your private conversation with Kaiku. Couple space is for the two of you plus Kaiku. What you say in solo space doesn't show to your partner and doesn't end up in couple chat.

Does Kaiku save everything I say?

Kaiku saves the essentials — commitments, times, recurring themes — to help next time. You can ask any time for something to be forgotten, or delete your entire conversation history.

Can I use solo space without couple space?

Yes. Solo space works on its own — you don't need a partner. Couple space only activates when you invite someone.

Are my messages used to train AI?

No. Your messages stay yours. We don't use solo space conversations to train models, and we don't sell your data to third parties.

Can I delete everything?

Yes. From profile settings you can delete individual conversations or your entire account. When you delete, the data is gone — we don't keep it hidden.

Start your own conversation — Kaiku learns you.
