Kaiku
BODY

Your body at a glance

The Body tab brings activity, recovery and health data together. The most important cards are visible immediately — Kaiku sees how things connect, not just isolated numbers.

STEP 1 · OVERVIEW

The cards that matter, right away

The Body tab opens to five essential cards: steps, calories burned, sleep, resting heart rate and weight. One glance tells you where today stands.

You don't have to curate dashboard widgets or hunt for numbers across screens. Kaiku surfaces what's relevant now, and the deeper layer is one tap away.

STEP 2 · TRENDS

A trend tells more than a single number

One reading is noise; a trend is signal. In the Body view every metric is available across 7, 30 and 90 days. Your body moves more slowly than daily numbers suggest.

Kaiku doesn't turn a single spike into a crisis. It looks at direction: is resting heart rate dropping over the month, is weight stable, is sleep improving. Where you're heading matters more than where you are right now.

STEP 3 · MORNING CHECK

One view, four values in the morning

Weight from the scale, resting heart rate and HRV from Suunto, blood pressure from a separate device. Everything lands in one place — you don't type the same number into multiple apps.

The morning card shows your baseline for the day in a single look. When the devices sync automatically, you don't have to remember to log anything — just measure.

STEP 4 · SLEEP

Sleep — stages and quality

Suunto measures sleep stages — deep, REM, light — and wakeups. Kaiku shows the shape of the night, and together with HRV this is Kaiku's most important recovery signal.

The shape of the night tells you more than the number of hours. You can sleep eight hours and miss deep sleep, or sleep six hours and recover fully. Kaiku knows how to read those patterns.

STEP 5 · DEEPER LAYERS

Deeper layer, only when you need it

The Body tab opens in layers. Five cards on the surface, then medication, blood glucose, cycle and specialty measurements deeper in. You don't have to scroll a long list every morning — only the ones you need surface.

You can reorder the cards to fit how you live. Some people want sleep and HRV at the top, others want steps and calories. Kaiku learns what you look at most and lifts it up.

STEP 6 · WEEKLY SUMMARY

On Sunday evening, Kaiku talks

At the end of the week Kaiku gathers the most important signals and tells you in short: where you moved forward, where you fell behind, what to pay attention to next.

This isn't a report, it's a conversation. Two or three sentences, no tables or percentages. You can continue talking with Kaiku — ask for a detail, request a suggestion, or just acknowledge that you read it.

FIVE WAYS TO READ THE BODY

What's inside Body

Activity

Daily activity, steps and workouts in one place. Kaiku notices when your rhythm shifts.

Heart rate

Resting HR, HRV and recovery. Kaiku mirrors these against sleep and training load.

Weight

Completely optional. Kaiku shows the trend — it never punishes you with a number.

Sleep

Length, quality, deep and REM. Compare yesterday to today, and notice the longer arcs.

Blood pressure

Via a Withings monitor. Kaiku connects changes to stress and recovery.

Suunto, Withings and your phone's native health data (HealthKit / Health Connect) work out of the box. Oura and Strava are arriving after testing.

I couldn't take apps that only show numbers anymore. Kaiku shows me direction and how things connect — and that's calming.

Common questions about Body

Is weight tracking required?

Not at all. Kaiku never asks you to weigh yourself. You can hide the weight card entirely or skip the Body tab altogether.

What does Kaiku use the health data for?

Kaiku mirrors the data back to you — for example sleep against recovery and training load. We don't share it with third parties and we don't use it to train AI. Storage is EU-based.

What if I only have a phone, no wearable?

Your phone's native health data (steps, GPS workouts, heart rate if it has a sensor) works. iOS HealthKit and Android Health Connect bring the data straight to Kaiku.

Can Kaiku detect health problems?

Kaiku is not a diagnostic tool. If something worries you, contact a doctor or health centre. Kaiku notices changes — it doesn't replace a professional.

Which devices work right away?

Suunto (14 days of history), Withings (weight and blood pressure), iOS HealthKit and Android Health Connect. Oura and Strava arrive after testing.
