Kaiku
COACH INTELLIGENCE

An intelligent coach that learns you.

Kaiku sees how your body responds to load, calibrates the next day, recognizes illness and holidays, and celebrates small wins.

STEP 1 · FEEDBACK

Feedback after every workout, no asking

When you finish a workout, Kaiku analyzes heart-rate zones, intensity, and compares with your previous sessions. Feedback arrives automatically in three parts: what went well, observations, adjustment for next time.

It's short and concrete — not a long report. A few lines with what matters. You can open a deeper breakdown if you want to understand more.

STEP 2 · PROGRAM ADAPTS

The program adapts to the data

Kaiku doesn't blindly run the program to the end. When recovery is slow, sleep is short, or heart rate is high, it lowers intensity. When everything goes well, it can raise it.

The program lives week by week. You don't have to decide 'was that too hard' — Kaiku sees it in the data and makes the call in the background, with a reason.

STEP 3 · AUTOMATIC PRs

PRs are logged automatically

Kaiku notices when you beat a previous record: running time, lifting weight, aerobic threshold, weekly mileage. No need to log by hand.

The PR badge appears alongside the workout, and you see the comparison. This builds a long timeline of your achievements without keeping a separate spreadsheet.

STEP 4 · SICKNESS, HOLIDAY, RETURN

Kaiku knows when life interrupts

In three special modes, Coach Intelligence changes its behavior. Sickness pauses the program and activates a return-to-play schedule. Holiday silences reminders. Rehab lowers volume for the return period.

You don't have to remember to 'activate return mode'. Kaiku asks when it sees the signs: several low HRV days in a row, frozen workouts, higher resting heart rate. You can accept or skip.

STEP 5 · TRAINING PROFILE

Kaiku knows you — not a template

The training profile is Kaiku's understanding of YOUR shape: experience level, recovery capacity, intensity preference, volume tolerance. The profile recalibrates continuously, with the most recent workout weighing most.

This is what separates Kaiku from generic templates. 'A solid mid-level 35-year-old endurance amateur' tells you nothing about you. What Kaiku sees in your data does.

First program that saw my illness before I did. I rested two days and Kaiku switched on return mode without me asking. Like a real coach.

Common questions

How precise is the feedback?

Coach Intelligence is built on your own data — wearable, training load, sleep, resting heart rate. More data, sharper calibration. The first two weeks are a learning phase.

Can the Coach be turned off?

You choose how active Kaiku is: comments only (no actions), active warnings, or full adaptation. From settings.

What is RTP mode?

RTP means return-to-play. After illness or injury, Kaiku builds a stepwise return to normal volume. Three easy days, then gradually back.

Is Coach Intelligence free?

It requires Premium. Individual workouts and running the program are free, but automatic feedback, adaptation, and PR tracking require a Premium subscription.

Does it replace a real coach?

No. Coach Intelligence is continuous, intelligent calibration and feedback. In special situations (injury, race-specific prep), a human coach complements it well.
